Forever Plaid Auditions

Written by Stuart Ross
Directed by Michelle & Tony Proracki

Show Description:

The show centers on a fictional vocal quartet: Frankie, Sparky, Jinx, and Smudge. The four friends met in high school and dreamed of singing like their idols—The Four Freshmen and The Crew Cuts. While driving to pick up their custom plaid tuxedos, their car is broadsided by a bus full of Catholic schoolgirls heading to see The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show. Because they died at the exact moment their dreams were realized, they exist in a state of suspended animation. The musical begins when they are allowed to punch a hole in the ozone layer to perform a celestial concert.

Performance Dates:
March 4th – 7th and 11th – 14th

Performances are on Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday matinees.
