Simcoe Little Theatre has announced its 2025-26 season of productions that aim to provide laughter and music for audiences of all ages.

The lineup includes a full-scale musical, a Canadian play, and a concert presentation of a Broadway favourite.

Nice Work If You Can Get It is a Gershwin musical comedy that kicks off the holiday season with performances running November 20 to December 7. Directed by Janet Dickson with Joanne Pond as assistant director – the duo behind the sold-out White Christmas shows in 2023 – take viewers to the chaos of prohibition era during the Roaring Twenties with toe-tapping tunes and humorous plot twists.

Chess The Musical: In Concert runs from March 5 to 15, 2026 under the direction of Andy Dominick in his debut at SLT. The show explores Cold War tensions through the lens of a high-stakes chess match in a concert-style presentation. A score by ABBA’s Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, lyrics by Tim Rice, and favourite songs like One Night in Bangkok and I Know Him So Well make for a powerful and unique experience for audiences.

Harvest, written by Ken Cameron is a heart-warming and humorous Canadian play that features a retired farm couple as they deal with renting out the family home. Directed by Christine Mulholland, the play runs from April 30 to May 10 with relatable moments of warmth and wit, celebrating community, resilience, and the beauty of life’s second acts.
